Just a Note

Dear Cassidy,
Per ce2 Rae's request, I am updating your blog even though I've got nothing to add.......but anyway, here we go................


We are entering our third month here in Perth and around this time, your mom is:

1. Trying to figure out how to drive around the roundabouts.










2. Still trying to say Australian Idol instead of American Idol every time the show is on.






3. Learning to get used to listening to Aussie accent.












4. Adapting very nicely to eating muffins with butter.





5. Ecstatic to find out that Late Night with Conan O'Brien is on Comedy channel NIGHTLY!!!!!








6. Still couldn't understand why' Facebook is such a biggie. Just shows how old your mom is and soo not in tune with what's in these days.




7. Trying to get over this dashing British hottie Robert Pattinson but continues to fail miserably.








8. Getting used to living close to the beach and enjoying every moment of it.






9. Finding it hard to realize that her little one is growing up so fast and wishes Kong2 is still around to see that.

Slutty Ballerina

Dear Cass

You wouldn't remember this but around this time, you are in the habit of trying on other people's clothes, right after I bring them out from the drier. I guess you just love how soft and warm they feel even if they are all wrinkly and crumpled. This one in particular interests you the most.......

I guess cause you have one just like it, except that yours had that washout effect caused by a wrong t-shirt transfer paper that made it look naturally vintage. Not so bad eh?

Oh, btw, the drawing is one of ce2 Rachael's masterpieces. I called it Slutty ballerina cause well, she (the ballerina not ce2 Rachael) is just one lollipop away from becoming Lolita.

In case you were wondering, Lolita is the most widely known slut made famous by Russian writer Vladimir Nabakov. And if by now you havent already known what a slut is.........well, ask your dad ;) .............Anyway, I always ponder the question whether I'd rather be known as a slut or a bitch ..........*thinking*...........

One Fine Sunday

Hi Cass,
Wonder where you were? we brought you to a vineyard at Swan Valley. The idea of going to the vineyard is so your parents can drink wines for free. But since the idea of wine tastings require us to behave like some wine afficiando which we are anything but, after four glasses of wines we can't ever remember the names of, we decided to just head out. And the next thing we know, you were running to the big open space behind your father.



There were ducks too!!
